Speaker Workshop with Teddy Syrette for TBU Members

The Teachers' Bargaining Unit is happy to offer TBU members an opportunity to learn from Teddy Syrette (they/them), a 2-spirit, Anishinaabe artist from Batchewana First Nation and advocate for 2-spirit/Queer-Trans Indigenous People and their communities. Teddy will provide members with an in-depth look at 2SLGBTQ+ topics, histories, and experiences, guiding members on how they might better support students in their schools and further their own self development and learning. 

This event will be held in the afternoon of Thursday, June 5th, 2025 at the OSSTF D18 Office in Elora (294 East Mill Street - Unit 109). Time release for periods 3 and 4 will be provided for those members in attendance. Spaces are limited, and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. To register, please click here.
