The Qualifications and Evaluation Council of Ontario (QECO) is used to complete Certification Rating Statements.  These statements are used to determine the pay rate for teachers by placing them in one of four possible groups.

Please note that QECO does not accept paper applications.  The application process for an OSSTF/FEESO Certification evaluation from QECO is fully electronic.  The electronic application can be found here.

All teachers must be evaluated at QECO to be considered for a placement beyond Category A1 by their school board.  You must submit your Statement of Evaluation to the school board for appropriate category placement.
