Did you know that from now until June 1st District 18 is holding a sock drive to be distributed to those in need in our community?
New or clean & in gently used condition adult socks can be sent to the D18 Office in Elora via the inter-office courier, addressed to Tracey Mackie-Vlietstra. The most requested type of socks are wool work socks.
Check out the pile of socks that was donated last week to The Bench in Guelph. If every member of District 18 donated a single pair of socks, that would provide over 2500 pairs of warm socks to those in need in our community. Perhaps this drive might also make for a good class project in one of your courses?
