Kicking off on Monday February 10th at the downtown branch of the Guelph Public Library is the 'Putting Names to Faces: Black Teaching Excellence in Guelph-Wellington-Waterloo' exhibit. This exhibit celebrates multiple Black Educators, including a local D18 TBU member, spanning the past 100 years.
As part of the launch of this exhibit and celebration of Black Brilliance, TBU members, friends & family are invited to join us for a special event co-hosted by D18 TBU Equity and the Guelph Public Library (100 Norfolk St. Guelph) on Tuesday February 11th.

Join us at 5pm for a conversation with Dr. Marsha Hinds Myrie. She will discuss her journey as an educator, activist, and changemaker, followed by a time for questions. No pre-registration required - seats will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
Documentary Screening at 7pm - What We Deserve – Restorative Justice and Reparation by Shelley Jarrett. This documentary explores the legacy of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. To register for this event please see the TBU Bi-Weekly from Wed. Jan. 15th.
