The Guelph and District Labour Council has organized a rally at Tim Hortons today.

This is to show our solidarity with the workers who have had their paid breaks and benefits reduced as a result of the increase in the minimum wage.

5 pm at York and Victoria in Guelph.

Tim Horton's needs to do the right thing and reverse the actions of some of its franchises of cutting worker's breaks and reducing benefits and other unfair practices in reaction to the increase of the minimum wage to $14 an hour. That's why, the Windsor and District Labour Council - WDLC, the $15 and Fairness campaign and the Ontario Federation of Labour is organizing an action in front of Tim Horton's. We need to send a clear message to the owners of the Tim Horton's chain - Restaurant Brands International - that they have the power to stop all franchises from punishing workers. Come out to our action in Windsor! #15andFairness
